Russ Myer, CRNA President recently traveled to Boston MA and New Glaucester ME to set up ParaNordic Clinics and Events dates….then came away with NENSA’s ParaNordic trailer?!! NENSA is transitioning out of its adaptive program leaving a number of ParaNordic clubs in NE to continue on their own. CRNA is bringing the clubs together for a series of clinics and events starting in December with events at Adaptive Sports Foundation in Windham NY.
With CRNA signing an MOU with Albany Dept Gen’l Svcs to have programming at capital Hills golf course for regional veterans and youth, the trailer was reasonable as a way to store CRNA’s gear (except boots!) at Capital Hills. Not only did CRNA purchase the trailer but all its contents including 113 sitskis and a number of standing nordic ski sets to compliment what CRNA has accrued through its VA grant. CRNA Thanks NENSA and Albany Team RW&B leader Kim VanHeste for both the purchase and her husband Jim going up to New Glaucester ME to bring the trailer back
