CRNA/EMPO at Hackett MS

CRNA was a major contributor to Albany’s PAL summer program with well attended and exciting orienteering events. CRNA was asked to work with PAL during the school year at the City of Albany’s Hackett Middle School, supporting inner city middle schoolers through its afterschool programming.

Phil Hawkes-Teeter along with his wife Sue, started off the school’s second session with a great O event around the school grounds , which included a fun team relay identifying O map symbols. The weather was brisk but all had a great time….which included a two team sprint to the finish!!!

As soon as there is enough snow, CRNA will host XC ski and snowshoe events at the middle school in addition to orienteering events. Sessions last from 4-5:15PM and are held on Thursdays.

CRNA is pleased to continue its relationship with Albany PAL!
